Horseback Riding or Hiking at Limon Waterfall in Samana

Come discover the Highest Waterfall in Samana Peninsula and swim in the cool waters of the natural pool just below

A secluded paradise nestled in the mountains of Samana Peninsula is Salto El Limon Waterfall. The falls reach a height of 164 feet from the ground, where they cascade into a refreshing natural pool.

To reach El Limon Waterfall, you can hike along a trail (30-45 mins) or ride a horse (15-20 mins) through the rainforest, enjoying views of cacao, coffee, and various tropical fruit plantations along the way.

A local guide will accompany you on your horseback ride to this breathtaking destination. Bring your swimsuit to make the most of this beautiful trip. For the more adventurous one you can even get behind the Falls in the small caverns hiding at their back. After enjoying the Waterfall for about 45 minutes, we will then go back to the base camp for a delicious typical Dominican lunch.
